Italy–Slovenia Cooperation for Forest Fire Prevention

On March 27th, in Udine, at the headquarters of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region, and in collaboration with the Slovenian Forest Service, a joint event of the European Interreg projects Cross-Alert and Wildfire Central Europe brought together experts and institutions to discuss wildfire risk prevention and management.
The University of Padua, through the TESAF Department and the Interdepartmental Research Center CIRGEO, contributed with innovative approaches to map wildfire risk and behavior using geomatics and satellite data!
